To mark the milestone moment in the history of schistosomiasis – 10 years since we started donating praziquantel tablets to WHO for African countries – a giant worm was placed on Lake Geneva. The worm aims to attract global attention, as it is hoped that more awareness will lead to greater action to control and eliminate schistosomiasis.
